Necronomicon - Hardcore Horror(?) Rap

Just found this (Creative Commons) goddie on Jamendo. Since I have a poor knowledge of Spanish (it’s Spanish - right?), I haven’t got the slightest idea what they’re rapping about, but I like it.

With a mix of doomish music samples and 8bit, these guys rap relentlessly away with a beat that’ll split open your ribcage.

I stumbled onto Necronomicon on Jamendo and naturally I immediately fell for the name. Judge by yourself.

Phlow Magazine - Dig them Wicked Vibes

Also today, I’ve been a’cruisin’ Phlow Magazine the “Free Mp3 Music Culture Magazine”. One of the advantages of Phlow is the way you get to the music: First you head to their Free Mp3 Downloads and then you select a genre, from here you’re able to stream a couple of tunes and if you like it, Hell, you just download the album.

Another bad-ass thing is that the music is licensed under Creative Commons - a fact which makes my knees bend and my mouth water.

So far, I’ve dug New Wave Syria and Orange Crush - “Autumn Reflections”, but I’m sure there’s lots of other good stuff there as well.

Check it out.

Enoughrecords, get your Music Fix

If you’re in to that whole electronic experimental music, enoughrecords is definately a place you should know.

Enoughrecords is a netlabel that mostly “pursue a focus on electronica, IDM, postrock, industrial, noise, glitch, drone and dark ambient”. The hook? There is no hook. The music is free for download and you may “share it with your friends and the world”. As enoughrecords write in their intro, they “believe music should be free”. However, if you’re a good person, you’ll mention them when you share the music.

I’ve been listening to some music that enoughrecords have on their site and so far, I’d reccomend their dubstep compilation Enough Dubs and everything made by CKZ.

Have fun exploring!
